Frequently Asked Questions
- Oily or acne-prone: 2–3×/week.
- Normal/combination: 1–2×/week.
- Sensitive/reactive (incl. rosacea-prone):1×/week (or every 10–14 days); patch-test first
1. Cleanse + pat dry. Start with clean, makeup-free skin.
2. Apply a thin, even layer at room temperature—cover T-zone and cheeks, avoid eyes/lips.
3. Keep it moist for 15–20 minutes. Don’t let it fully dry—lightly mist or re-wet fingertips to maintain a damp film. This preserves comfort and the intended effects.
4. Rinse with lukewarm water, no harsh rubbing; gently towel-dry.
Cautions: Patch-test if very reactive; skip on open lesions.
Yes, Aquae's products are carefully formulated with natural ingredients and free from harsh chemicals, making them gentle on sensitive skin.
In short: earth + healing spring water, nothing extra—just the naturally occurring minerals (including H₂S) that give it its antioxidant and skin-balancing effects.
- After the first mask (15–20 min): skin feels fresher, smoother, and more hydrated thanks to light exfoliation and short-term hydration. Shine looks reduced right away.
- 7–14 days (with 2–3 uses/week for oily skin or 1–2 for normal): more consistent oil balance and fewer congested areas as the sebum-regulating/keratolytic action accumulates.
- ~4 weeks of steady use: a clearer, more even look from ongoing antioxidant “scavenger” effect plus gentle resurfacing.
Tips to speed results: keep the mask moist (don’t let it fully dry) and rinse after 15–20 minutes each time.
Natural peloids are scientifically proven therapeutic muds: clays mixed with mineral-medicinal water, prepared to spread easily on the skin and release active components locally.
They are powerful antioxidants that defend collagen, curb oxidative stress, rebalance oil and sebum, and clean the pores.
Leaving the skin younger, clearer, and with an even tone. Visibly refreshed.
A water is considered mineral-medicinal when it is of natural origin (spring), emerges at a certain temperature, and contains specific amounts of salts and minerals
It is sulfurized when it contains more than 1 mg/L of Hydrogen Sulfide. The Platea spring, in Calatayud (where our water comes from), contains 13 mg/L of hydrogen sulfide, and is very rich in ions.
Hydrogen sulfide crosses the skin surface and reaches the bloodstream after topical application. Ions have an antioxidant scavenger effect that prevents molecular oxidation.
